Canadian merchants face a number of challenges when it comes to selling products online and Galileo Commerce has been developed to solve these, with features such as:

Calculates international duty and brokerage charges based on NAFTA rules for applicable products.
Calculates Canadian taxes for applicable orders, including the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) used in the Maritime provinces.
Some customs brokers require the Social Security Number of your customer for purchases going to the United States and if it is not present, they will charge a SSN look-up fee. GC can be set to ask US customers for their SSN number and optionally charge them a look-up fee if it is not entered.
GC can display pricing in both US and Canadian currencies.
Supports Canadian postal codes (and USA zip codes) for the store/branch locator search engine feature.
In order to accurately calculate international shipping fees and determine eligibility, merchants can specify the country of origin for each product.
Galileo Commerce supports both Imperial and Metric measurement systems for calculating shipping fees.
